all you need is some wire, spray can, and a stencil.

Specially for R. Birthday, we got for you a project that is fun and useful for kids and adults alike, kids will just have more fun to cut things 5 times as faster as before. and joyful for adults, not only because then the kids are occupied for the next hour, but also they can now shred sensitive material in to Confetti.

this project is very simple to make, just get as many scissors as you like.

a couple of screws, washers, and bolts.

drill the two holes through all the scissors, at the exact place.

fasten the screws and we are done.

the life of a single guy living alone, has it advantages, but one sad fact I found I share with other guys in my situation : our fridges are empty. So it is time to put that empty space to work. (for full instructions follow the link)

and when you think about it, what is a cola vending machine if not just a fridge and a hole to collect your money?

the great thing about this hack is that no changes to the original fridge are needed.

plywood is covering the front of the fridge, leaving only a small window for grabbing your drink. in germany, this will be the most common cooling closet you’ll find in any rented apartment.

one used cap serves as the handle head. after you insert a one euro coin, a strong pull on the handle will reward you with a cool Afri Cola. (a highly caffeinated cola soft drink made in Germany)

a look at the inside, as you can see, most parts of this baby are 100% combustible.

this will be the bottle magazine, the ammunition storage and feeding device. once the coin acceptor is pulled all the way, this device will come into action, releasing only one bottle per pull.

The brain behind this is the ‘coin acceptor’, Only if you put – One Euro Coin – you can get your drink.

it works on the principle that if no coin is placed a hinge is preventing from achieving a full pull on the handle. but once you insert a coin through a crack that is made according to the exact size of a specific coin. the coin rolls down and fills a slot, then by pulling the handle the safety hinge slides over the coin, making it possible to pull the handle all the way back and trigger the bottle magazine, once you release the handle the mechanism returns to it’s original position.

the simplicity of this design is also it’s biggest weakness, any washer or coin in the exact same size as one euro will work, but in the conditions in which i installed this machine this will never happen.

once a full pull is made, the sequence continues as explained below.

the diagram above is for the bottle magazine. as you can see a shelf is holding the next bottle till the handle is locked. so one pull one bottle.

the horn was found after a football match on the street, and what gave me this idea was the fact that a spray of Butane Gas for refilling lighters, was significantly cheaper then an Air spray..

duck tape and leather man will do the job.

cut the nozzle in half and widen it with the tape.

other than that the horn seem to be universal size, so it just fits perfectly.

have a lighter or an open flame around, blow the horn and aim to the fire. it’s loud. somebody told me it can also be dangerous.

1. the ingredients are:
a CD-player with an access to the batteries compartment from the front (disc side),
a pair of portable speakers that have a built in amplifier,
a pull cord light switch with a cotton thread,
circle cutting knife. for nice circle cuts.
epoxy glue, cardboard glue and some wires.

2. get every thing out of the box.

3. strip down the speakers but keep the batteries housing complete.

4. take the cover off the CD-player. glue the play button so it will stay in it’s active state. now connect the two wires to the CD-player battery circuit, creating a shortcut in the CD-player electric supply. now when the circuit will close the player will start playing.

5. the speakers together with the CD-player determine the size of the case.

6. this step is where you punch all the holes in the front part.

7. fit side panels to the front case edge, and punch a hole in the bottom for the cotton thread.

9. the back panel is a bit smaller then the front one, it gives strength to the structure.

10. glue it all in place with an epoxy. put the switch just above the hole and wire it to the player.  connected the amplifier to the headphone jack of the player.

12. here we have all the stuff in place with the cotton thread tied to the switch, just before we seal it. for ever.

13. from the back we will have access to the batteries of the speaker’s amplifier, and in the front to the batteries of the CD-player.

pull the thred for play and pull again to stop.
